Pers plans to launch expansions with new cards in Print & Play format to keep players entertained during social distancing.

Three years ago, Pers launched Blobbiemundo, the first and only Peruvian TCG on the market. Blobbiemundo has delivered thousands of dollars in cash prizes to the winners of its first 3 regional tournaments.

Blobbiemundo introduces a unique combat dynamic, not available in other card games. Unlike most TCGs, that use concepts like “Attack vs. Defense”, Blobbiemundo uses 7 abilities to battle:Attack • Speed • Confusion • Defense • Perception • Camouflage • Weaponry. With these abilities, Blobbiemundo replicates battles between animals, simulating the interaction between predators and prey in the real world.

Besides, new concepts such as Vitality, Trench, Environments, Eras, Magic, and Gargoyles, enhance Blobbiemundo’s gameplay.

Attack

The capacity that a shape has to cause immediate damage, whether using physical force, great weight, fangs, claws, horns, etc.

Speed

The capacity that a shape has to escape or catch an opponent by using its speed, agility, reaction time, etc.

Confusion

The capacity that a shape has to disconcert an opponent and survive an attack, by either faking death, expelling ink, stench, quick-acting toxins, etc.

Defense

The capacity that a shape has to withstand various attacks, whether due to large muscle mass, strong skin, strong shell, regeneration power, etc.

Perception

The capacity that a shape has to detect other shapes, whether through vision, hearing, smell, radar, magnetism, thermal vision, etc.

Camouflage

The capacity that a shape has to not be perceived by its opponents, whether by being stealthy, hiding, using mimicry, etc.

Weaponry

The capacity that a shape has to cause slow damage, whether by using poison, electricity, spikes, urticating hairs, etc.

Meet the Blobbies®

Blobbies are friendly colorful beings that change shape at will. They are curious about the world, eager to learn new things, and always ready to have fun! Blobbies like to copy shapes that they learn about, be it geometrical shapes, plants, animals, or vehicles.

Blobbies were introduced to the world in 2003 via their book: “Here Come The Blobbies”, a sci-fi fantasy adventure with educational content, that has received several awards in USA including a “Book of the Year” award from Creative Child Magazine.

Their transforming plush toyline, the Blobbiemorphers, received a “Toy of the Year” award from Adding Wisdom Awards, a “Top Toy of the Year” award from Creative Child Magazine and it was selected as a “Hot Holiday Gift” by the Better Homes & Gardens Magazine in USA.
